Swarm in an apple tree
Swarms

Honey Bees will naturally swarm as a means of reproduction.  Beekeepers will try to prevent swarming by regular inspections and ensuring that the colony has sufficient room to expand.  The swarming season is from April through to July but the prime time is in May. Honey bees that have swarmed can be collected by a beekeeper. Beekeepers will not remove bumble bee nests or wasp nests.  The British Beekeeping Association does provide a swarm collection service for honey bees and the details can be found here
